EPI Career Opportunities
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The EPI Administrative Assistant is an essential member of the EPI team with both general administrative duties and human resource functions such as employee onboarding, benefits enrollment, and payroll. This is a full-time position that is in-office four days a week at the Indianapolis office location. The Administrative Assistant reports to the President/Medical Director and Practice Manager. Position Requirements:
· 3-5 years of experience in administrative role. Medical office experience preferred but not required. Experience in executing human resources functions is also a plus.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Ability to handle competing priorities in a timely manner.
· Excellent written communication skills.
· General computer literacy plus proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
· Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. EPI employees must adhere to HIPAA standards.
· Ability to work independently.
Job Duties
· Human resources functions including, but not limited to, benefits enrollment and updates, maintaining accurate employee contact information and personnel files, and payroll processing.
· General administrative duties such as daily email correspondence with internal and external departments, processing incoming mail and faxes, and filing.
· Monitor approximately 50 employee expirable credentials and ensures documentation of renewal is received (ex. License, board certifications, BLS/ACLS, etc.)
· Coordinate patient grievance investigation with relevant EPI providers and hospital departments
· Coordinate new-hire credentialing and onboarding process in collaboration with relevant hospital departments including Physicians, Midlevel practitioners, and Scribes.
· Plan and execute quarterly company-wide social events.
· Utilize EPIC, an electronic health record application, to pull patient charts and provider notes as needed.
· Assists in maintaining accurate provider schedule in WhenToWork and Amion platforms, including editing schedules to reflect shift trades, pulling shift reports, etc.
· Coordinate Physician Assistant annual evaluation process with President and Board.
· Coordinates Physician Assistant student shadow experiences.
· Maintain accuracy and relevance of company website using WordPress
· Other duties as assigned.
Benefits and Compensation
· $23-$28 per hour.
· 4-day work week in-office at the Franciscan Health- Indianapolis location.
· Flexible schedule, anticipated work hours are 30 hours per week.
· Paid Time Off, accrual begins immediately upon start date.
· Paid holidays (8 hours): Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day, July 4.
· Employer-paid medical, dental, and Long-Term Disability insurance.
· Health Savings Account for employer-paid medical insurance plan.
· 401k eligibility after three months, including annual employer contribution. Fully vested after three years of service.
